What about me?
As you all know, my name is Áine, and I'm a 4th-year BSc Psychology Student. Here I'll be sharing my thoughts, feelings and research on topics that interest me. This ranges from mental health to neurodiversity, to forensics, to my own life experiences.
I've grown up in a neurodivergent family, and I have ADHD. Only recently diagnosed shortly before my 21st, I have experienced a lot of ups and downs in my life. This blog is a way for me to express the thoughts that circulate in my mind, and I hope that others will find them interesting.
I plan to pursue a career in clinical psychology, fueled by my strong interest in helping others. Over the course of my degree, I have been fortunate enough to gain clinical experience and mental health research experience with some of the top mental health research studies across the UK and the world (Shoutout GLAD study and EDGI UK). I hope to expand my knowledge in the field of clinical psychology, and can't wait to see where I end up!
